Case Study: Efficient Model Extraction

Using a combination of innovative direct parameter extraction and optimization techniques within our proprietary software platform, Playa 3 we've demonstrated a fully scalable, analog-centric BSIM MOS model extraction flow in under one minute. The resulting model shown in the 0.18um NMOS transistor example below is fully scalable in length and width with accurate fitting of transconductance (Gm), output conductance (Gds) and Gm/Id across multiple bias conditions.
